Ronald "Ron" L. Hendrix

A funeral service honoring the life of Ronald Lee “Ron” Hendrix will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at The Assembly. Ron will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with family there to receive visitors from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. He passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. He was 73 years old. Ron was born in Barry County, Missouri on Saturday, August 29, 1942 to Donald and Pearl (Potts) Hendrix Cline. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1960. Ron created his own success as owner of American Services and Security Pest Control. Ron married Terri Shepherd on February 14, 2016 in a Florida wedding ceremony. He was a wonderful husband and father. He loved his family and was their rock. He cherished every moment he was able to spend with his children and especially his grandchildren. Ron worked hard and played hard. He loved the beach and was drawn to Florida’s beautiful beaches. Ron was a fan of mixed martial arts, traveling to watch fights all over the world. He also trained and earned a black belt in martial arts. Throughout his life he continued to stay in shape and enjoyed working out at the gym. Ron was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and attended numerous rallies in Daytona and visited Sturgis every year. He was known to enjoy a trip to Las Vegas but liked to travel all over the world. Ron also loved his dog Mia. Memorials may be made to Guts Church, 9120 E. Broken Arrow Expressway, Tulsa, OK 74145. Ron is survived by, Wife, Terri Hendrix, Cape Coral, FL Children, Kellie Tomlinson and husband Roger Brad Hendrix and wife Dawna Derik Hendrix Crissleen Fowler and husband Bradley Dane Hendrix and wife Britney Grandkids, Lacie and Jerad Roberts, Lynsi and Aaron Sadler, Andrew Tomlinson, Ashley Tomlinson, Logan Hendrix, Aaron Lee Tomlinson, Paige Harwick, Chelsea Nix, Kennedy Fowler, Brynn Fowler, Zane Hendrix, Blane Hendrix, Sloan Hendrix and Shane Hendrix Great Grandkids, Carson Lee Hendrix, Hayden Tomlinson, Kinlee Roberts, Paisley Tomlinson, Faith Steele, Abigail Martin Siblings, Annette Busenburg, Tulsa, OK Glenda Sisson, Tulsa, OK Ronald Cline and wife Joyce, Garfield, AR Tony Cline and wife Rhonda, Ash Grove, MO Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
