Mark Davis

Mark Charles Davis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, July 1, 1978, to parents Anthony Charles and Teresa N. (Keeton) Davis. He passed from this world in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 47. Mark grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Broken Arrow High School. From an early age he developed a fascination with computers and technology, a passion that would eventually shape both his education and career. He earned his PhD in Cyber Security from the University of Tulsa, where he was involved with the CyberCorps program. He later worked as an Instructional Developer with Project Lead The Way, helping develop curriculum that brings STEM and CTE education to students from PreK through 12th grade. Mark was the kind of person people were naturally drawn to—kind, loyal, and easy to be friends with. He had a natural sense of humor and a personality that made people feel comfortable around him. He enjoyed music and liked to casually play the guitar. Mark also had a love for fast cars with big engines and was a longtime baseball fan who rarely missed a chance to follow the St. Louis Cardinals. In his free time he enjoyed playing World of Warcraft, bowling, and visiting Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Friends remember Mark as someone who was always easy to talk to and genuinely good to people. Many have shared how grateful they were to have known him and how much they enjoyed spending time with him, whether collaborating, talking baseball, swimming; playing pool, or simply catching up as friends. Above all else, Mark loved being Lucas’s dad. Being Lucas’s dad was the role he cherished most, and he rarely missed a karate tournament or opportunity to support him. His memories will be cherished by his son, Lucas Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his mother, Teresa Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his sisters, Teresa Ripley and husband William of Sherman, Texas, and Vicky Wu and husband Tye of Houston, Texas; Lucas’s mother, Ann Knode; and numerous other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Davis.
