Marilyn Felts

Marilyn Marie (Gaffney) Felts, 73, of Pryor, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, November 9th, 2025, at her home. Born on October 11, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Theodore and Cleo Marie (Givens) Gaffney, Marilyn was raised in Sperry and graduated with the Class of 1971. On June 1, 1971, she married the love of her life, C. Dennis Felts, at Sperry Christian Church. For fifty-four years, they shared an inseparable bond built on faith, laughter, and enduring love — a partnership that became an inspiration to all who knew them. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. For many years, she dedicated herself to her home and family before she and Dennis owned and operated Hank’s Hamburgers in Tulsa, where her welcoming smile and kind spirit left lasting impressions on countless customers and friends. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — tending her yard, bowling with friends, going to car shows, and spending cherished moments with her family. Marilyn’s greatest happiness came from those she loved most, and her generous heart touched everyone she met. A woman of faith, she was a devoted member of Rhema Bible Church, where her gentle spirit reflected her love for the Lord. Her kindness, laughter, and faith will continue to shine in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dennis Felts; her children, Ronnie Felts (Richard) and Stephanie Kester (Brian); her grandchildren, Cameron Felts (Emily), Parker Kester, Preston Kester, Rya Felts, and Cayden Felts; and great-grandchildren, Gunner, Lynnlee, and Sophia. She is also survived by her sister, Bettye Lue (Gaffney) Crooks; brother, Ricky Ray Gaffney (Shannon); brother-in-law, Jim Felts (Shala); along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Chad Felts; her parents, William and Cleo Gaffney; brothers, Donald Gene Gaffney, Joe Lee Gaffney and Jerry Gaffney; sisters, Patti Sue (Gaffney) Lee, Brenda Mae (Gaffney) Roller, Rita Jane Gaffney, Sharon Ann (Gaffney) Ivins; nephews, Mark Gaffney, Jeff Roller and Terry Gaffney. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12th , 2025 at Hayhurst Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony honoring Marilyn's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at Rhema Bible Church Chapel, 1025 W. Kenosha Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012, with Rev. Bill Ray officiating. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145. Casket bearers will be Ronnie Felts, Cameron Felts, Dennis Logan, Carlos Hopkins, Nate Scott and Keith Child. Honorary casket bearers will be Jim Felts, Cayden Felts, Gunner Felts, Parker Kester, Preston Kester. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Rhema Bible Training College in remembrance of Marilyn Felts.
