Glenda Tracy

Glenda Helaine Tracy was born on Friday, August 12, 1938, to parents Johnnie and Nan Lou (Ellison) Hunt in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She went on to a new life with her Savior and many loved ones on Friday, February 6th, 2026. Over her 87 years she touched the lives of her family, friends, and so many others she met along her life’s journey. She will surely be missed by all who knew her. Growing up in Southern Oklahoma, Glenda was one of three children. She graduated from Elmore City high school in 1956. She continued her education at East Central State in Ada, Oklahoma. When Glenda was growing up she met the sweetheart of her life, Darrell Tracy, and from age 15 they were together until this year. They raised two daughters in Broken Arrow and Glenda was a faithful wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Fishing with Darrell was one of the joys of Glenda’s life. She loved fishing alongside her husband and together they spent many wonderful days camping at the lake. Glenda loved the thrill of finding old treasures and selling on her eBay store or at the flea market booth she and Darrell had in Muskogee. She made many good friends and found good deals she couldn’t refuse at Goodwill, garage and estate sales every day. Glenda was a giver and Christmas was always an adventure because you never knew what you would get. Glenda’s Sunday pot roast was a family favorite. Most of all, Glenda delighted in spending time with her grandchildlren. She loved all of her family deeply. Glenda was preceded in death by her loving parents Johnnie (Pooh) and Nan Lou (Nanny) Hunt, her Grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Remembering her fondly, Husband, Darrell Tracy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Children, Connie Parker and Eric; Shelley Starnes and Scott Grandchildren, Jake Starnes, Zach Parker, Kelsey Bedwell, Maddie Klein, Peyton Stafford Great-Grandchildren, Ollie, Briggs, Jordin, Brodie, Addie, Cal, Stella, Cohen, Olive Siblings, Patrick Hunt; Johnny Phil Hunt Numerous Nieces/Nephews Preceded in death by parents, John and Nan Hunt.
