Connie Kay (Robbins) Moore was born “a military brat” in Denver, Colorado, on May 20, 1948, the daughter of William Robbins and Olga Baker Robbins. Connie passed from this life at home, on Madyn Hollow Farm, near Inola, Oklahoma, on Monday, October 31, 2022. Being an exceptionally intelligent student, Connie obtained an Undergraduate Degree in Life Sciences from Tulsa University and a Master’s Degree in Radiation Physics from Oklahoma University. While working as a radiation physicist, she attended night classes at the Tulsa University School of Law and obtained her Doctorate on December 16, 1980. After she and her husband graduated together, they were married and became members of the Oklahoma Bar Association in May, 1981. They practiced law together for a period of time. While representing numerous cities surrounding Tulsa in 1989 before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Connie was asked by one of the Commissioners whether she would be interested in opening the new Office in Tulsa and working as an Administrative Law Judge. She accepted and has served the State of Oklahoma in that capacity for 33 years. Because of her life-long passion for horses, Connie purchased ponies for her husband’s two young daughters, Beth and Julie. Connie has invested her, and her husband’s, time, energy and money in Welsh Ponies over the past 42 years, After attending a few pony shows, Connie joined the Oklahoma-Kansas Welsh Pony Association and the American Welsh Pony and Cob Society. She later served as a Welsh Pony judge for the Welsh Pony people, traveling in North America to different shows and events. Additionally, Connie raised and, in 2008, provided Boomer and Sooner, the OU Football mascots, to the Bartlett Foundation of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, who only recently transferred them to the University. Besides being an attorney and judge, at law and of Welsh Ponies, she and her brother Gregg, were accomplished ice figure skaters in their youth. As evidenced on social media, Connie will be greatly missed by all those that knew her. Survivors include: Husband – Ted L. Moore of Broken Arrow and Inola Stepdaughters-Beth Richmond and husband, Philip, of Tulsa, and Julie Argo and husband Kenneth, of Bartlesville Brother – Gregg Robbins and wife, Rita, of Tulsa Nephews – Mason Robbins, of Scotland, U.K. and Cody Robbins and wife, Miranda, of Rogers County, Oklahoma Cousin – John Baker and wife, Linda, of Tulsa Aunt – Donna Baker Each of her parents predeceased her
