    William "Bill" Triplett

    February 20, 1932 - April 19, 2022

    William Franklin Triplett, Jr. was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Saturday, February 20, 1932, to William Franklin Triplett and Stella Lena (Sherly) Triplett. He passed from this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home in Broken Arrow at the age of 90. Bill had a twin who died at birth, and he was raised by his grandmother. At the tender age of 14 years old, he left home and school and talked his way into the United States Army. He served a total of four years during the Korean War, where he was awarded the United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge. After the war, he returned to the Tulsa area where he went to work for Amoco as an electrician. He married Sandy Goodman on March 12, 1985 and was married 31 years until her passing in 2016. Bill was an active member of the Broken Arrow Elks Lodge #2673 for over thirty years, was a Oklahoma State Champion Skeet Shooter in 2004 and 2005, and had many friends he made over the years. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are dear friends, Mike and Vickie Inman of Broken Arrow Falen Inman and Nick Douglas His Broken Arrow Elk Lodge 2673 Family All of Broken Arrow Those who preceded him in death are his parents, his twin at birth and his wife, Sandy
