    Toni Gunter

    September 17, 1955 - December 4, 2021

Toni Lynn Gunter, of Broken Arrow, departed our world on Saturday December 4, 2021 at the age of 66. Toni was born on Saturday, September 17, 1955, in Oklahoma City to Billie and Erma (Pierson) DeBerry. She married the love of her life, Dewey Gunter, on March 17, 1974 in Oklahoma City, with their union blessing them with son Dustin and daughter Brooke. Toni is now reunited with Dewey and Dustin in a wonderful place that is not yet our destination. Toni, also known as ‘Mimi’, loved to spend time with her family, reading, traveling, and especially holidays. Toni enjoyed daily relaxation and peace on her patio, yet she was well-known and loved for her quick wit and spunky personality. Toni was a loving and endearing daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and so much more to those who know her. To many she was called Mom or Mimi by the Framily that surrounded her, while most circles got smaller, hers seemed to grow. Toni was also into politics and was known on occasion to go on a ‘rant’, but with a passion that we should all be so lucky to possess. Cherishing her memory, includes but is nowhere near limited to: Daughter Brooke Lynn Bills and husband Evan Feamster II of Broken Arrow, OK Grandchildren Maddon Dean Feamster, age 14 Hannity Lynn Feamster, age 10 Sister Debby Stone and husband Jimmy Many wonderful nieces, nephews, and additional framily members.. Service Options: Friends may visit Toni at Hayhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, December 16, from 12:00pm-8:00pm, with family and framily present from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Service of remembrance will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 17, 2021, and will be located at Hayhurst Funeral Home. Burial service shall follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. In addition, Brooke and Evan wholeheartedly welcome you and your guests to join them at their home for celebration of joy over good memories being shared about Toni. In lieu of flowers or donations, Toni’s family asks that you continue beautifying the world by performing an act(s) of kindness to others, to spend time with your loved ones and hug them tight, and to be the calm and peaceful presence of support during busy days of trials and tribulation. You have the power to change the world, day-by-day, person-by-person.
