Terri Renea (Shobert) McCauley was born in Purcell, Oklahoma on Friday, June 26, 1970, to Roy Kennard and Marilyn Beth (Shadden) Shobert. She passed from this life on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the home of a friend near Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 51. Terri was one of three children born to the Shoberts. She grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Oklahoma in 1988. After high school, Terri earned her bachelor’s degree. She took classes at her beloved University of Oklahoma and then finished up at Rogers State College in Claremore, Oklahoma. Terri had an incredible zest for life and lived each day to the fullest. She was a lifelong University of Oklahoma Sooner Fan. She was a talented sales rep for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits and was an entrepreneur at heart, owning rental properties and always looked for a bargain with all her purchases. Terri owned a Harley Davidson motorcycle that she loved to ride with friends as well as a boat that she kept at Grand Lake and hung out with a group of extremely close friends in Dripping Springs. She also loved to go 4-wheeling in her Jeep. Terri had an eclectic taste in music ranging from country to hip hop to rock. She had a very strong bond with her brother Tony and his daughter Dani. She always looked at Dani as a daughter instead of a niece. She was engaged to Ed Delehant and they had made plans to be married in the spring of 2022. She had formed a bond with Ed’s daughters Hope and Lilly and treated them like her own. She was as happy as she had ever been in a long time when it was cut way too short by a senseless act of violence. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are brother Tony Shobert of Noble Fiancee Ed Delehant of Owasso Special Niece Daniella Shobert of Owasso Bonus Daughters Hope Delehant and Lilly Delehant of Broken Arrow And close friends too numerous to even count She was preceded in death by her parents
