Steven Jessogne Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Steven Guy Jessogne of Broken Arrow passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 72. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at the Church of Saint Benedict in Broken Arrow at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Steve was born Friday, October 21, 1949, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Russell and Mary (Murphy) Jessogne. Shortly after high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and faithfully served his nation during the Vietnam War. Steve had 3 big passions in his life: his family, his work, and bad jokes. He also stayed very close to his mother, who he spoke to daily, even when there wasn’t much to say. On June 26, 1982, Steve married the love of his life, Bonnie Forster, in Great Bend, Kansas and their union was blessed with two sons, Russ and Patrick. One of his greatest joys came from spoiling his wife and kids with countless gifts, trips, love, and the list goes on. He was active in all their lives and got to see his sons grow up to start families of their own and become just as passionate and successful as he was, which gave him great pride. Steve met the 2nd love of his life, Ron Scott, in the 80’s and they went on to start E&I Sales together, a company that would quickly become one of Steve’s greatest obsessions. Steve loved his work and always kept himself up at night cooking up the next big idea or product that we all were going to retire from, and he was loved dearly for that. He loved mixing it up with everyone and even had a special insurance policy just for him that he was always very proud of. Steve’s entrepreneurial spirit and great mind for his craft would go on to be a major contribution to the company, shaping it into what it is today, and provided countless opportunities that many still benefit from. At the end of the day, those who knew him best will remember his generous heart and kind spirit. Those who didn’t, well, between you, me and the fence post, they were likely the reason for his special insurance policy.
