Sherry Collins

March 31, 1943 - March 16, 2022

A funeral service honoring her life will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, March 22 at Hayhurst Chapel with burial following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit Sherry at the funeral home on Monday, March 21 from 12-8pm. The family will be there to greet friends from 4-6pm. Sherry was born March 31, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Vincent and Mary (Downey) Stanhope. Her family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma after her birth where she grew up. She passed away from this life in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the age of 78. Sherry had four children, Robin, Kristie, Randy and Brett. Those four children were “the pride” of her life. She enjoyed sewing and especially quilting, where she excelled in making baby blankets. She enjoyed bowling, watching tennis and most especially loved watching her kids in their activities. She had a kind heart, was sweet and thoughtful and loved most everyone. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by: Daughters Robin Lynn Collins of Wagoner, Oklahoma Kristie Moore of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Son Brett Vincent Collins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Grandchildren Justin Moore of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Christopher Moore of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Jase Collins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Sister Deanne Keele and husband Danny of Boynton, OK Nephew Kenny Blair of Haskell, OK She was preceded in death by: Son Randy Collins Parents Vincent and Mary Jo Stanhope
