Sharron Riley
October 28, 1952 - September 14, 2021
“As it changes from the common, colorless caterpillar to the exquisite winged creature of delicate beauty, the butterfly is a metaphor for transformation and hope; it has become a symbol for rebirth and resurrection, for the triumph of the spirit and the soul over a physical prison.” Everyone who knew Sharron knew her love of butterflies. Unlike the butterfly she was anything but “common”. She was always the life of the party, the tightest hug and the most generous person I’ve known. Her love for William and their children was seen in everything she said and everything she did. That’s not to say she didn’t put them in their place when they needed it… and trust me, no one talked back. She loved her dogs, children, grandchildren, then her husband. (LOL) We know life will not be the same without her. Sharron Kay Riley was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 28th 1952. She gained her wings on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Eunice, brothers, Sonny, Alvin, Ferrian, Charles and sister, Marie. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years William Riley of Broken Arrow, her children, William Riley, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Jason Riley and wife Brooke Riley of Owasso, and her daughter Shannon Morrison and wife Chelsea of Broken Arrow. Her grandchildren Christian, Jordan, Taylor and Kadance and one great grandson Kason. Her brother James Brown and a whole slew of nieces, nephews and cousin.
