Regina Daniel

Regina (Rearick) Daniel passed away on July 27th, 2023 at the age of 91. She spent her last days peacefully at home in Edmond, Oklahoma surrounded by loved ones. Regina was born July 2nd,1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harold and Bonnie (Elkins) Rearick. On November the 8th, 1952, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dean Daniel. For 70 years they built a beautiful life together. She was a dedicated homemaker, gracious hostess, talented seamstress, and cook. She led many Bible studies and did mission work here at home and overseas. At one point in her life she won an inner city kids “mentor of the year” award and participated in weekly prison ministries. She also enjoyed Gaither concerts and southern Gospel singing. Regina was full of grace - pouring out her heart by serving and enriching the lives of anyone she knew. She will be remembered for her beautiful and infectious smile as well as her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She was selfless, loyal, loving, humorous, and passionate. Regina was the rock of her large family and the bond that united them. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and her legacy will live on through the countless lives that she touched. Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Debbie (Steve) Chancy of Edmond, and Janice (Richard) Andrews of Edmond, and daughter-in-law Donna Daniel of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Dan (Anetta) Chancy, David Chancy, Nathan Chancy, Rachel (Seth) Sanders, Elizabeth (Alex) Allen, Drew Daniel, and Chloe Daniel. Regina is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Hailey Andrews, Amos Sanders, Wren Sanders, Onyx Sanders, Noah Allen, Lillian Allen, and Forrest Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Mark Daniel, and grandson, Matthew Andrews. Regina loved her family fiercely and will be immensely missed until reunited together in Heaven. A memorial service is planned at Asbury Church in Tulsa at 11am on July 31st. Hayhurst Funeral Home of Broken Arrow is in charge of services for Regina. “Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good!
