Philip Suiter

Philip Lee Suiter, Sr. of Broken Arrow, formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at his home. He was 83. Philip was born Tuesday, January 18, 1938 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Leon and Alma (Baxter) Suiter. He married the love of his life, Alice Faye Pyburn, on May 16, 1958 and their union was blessed with two daughters, Lee Ann and Terry; as well as one son, Philip, Jr. He and Alice were married for 64 years. In high school Philip was known as an ironman on the football field playing both sides of the ball. After high school he attended Middle Tennessee State University as well as honorably serving his country in the US Air Force. In his free time, he loved to play golf, cheer for his Alabama Roll Tide and Tennessee Titans, and spend time with his family and friends and his outgoing personality made it easy for him to make new friends. He was a member of Bellville Masonic Lodge F&AM, Al Menah Shrine, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans. Philip is survived by: Wife Alice F. Suiter of the home Daughters Lee Ann Rake of Broken Arrow Terry Clark and husband Burrell of Broken Arrow Son Philip Suiter, Jr. and wife Debbie of Broken Arrow Grandchildren Hillary Dry, Allie Kaye Suiter, Ryan Rake Great-Grandchildren Harrison Rake, Crews Hobby Nieces Kim Puffpaff Tracy Suiter He is predeceased by: Parents Leon and Alma Suiter Brothers Harold Suiter Frank Suiter Sister Cynthia Suiter
