Myrna Snediker Myrna “J.J.” Snediker was born on Sunday, September 8, 1940 in Wellsville, Ohio, the daughter of Alex and Marie (Williams) Jenkins. She entered her eternal home Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Trinity Woods Retirement Home in Tulsa. She was 81 years of age. There will be a private Graveside service on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa and a reception from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the home of Jim and Julie Wilson, the reception is adult only. Myrna was a 1958 graduate of Wellsville, Ohio High School. She received an associate’s degree in Accounting from Allegany Community College. She was married to Don Snediker on December 26, 1959 in Wellsville. She was employed as an Accounting Administrator for Western Mining Company, NA in Pittsburgh, PA for many years. In 1993, Don and Myrna relocated to Tulsa to be near family and she began working as a tax preparer for Scott Campbell, CPA. She enjoyed being involved in various ministries, including the Billy Graham Crusade, Angel Tree, and Church Choir. She also held various leadership positions in Stonecroft Ministries, and led numerous Bible Studies. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and attending numerous grandchildren’s sporting events, piano and dance recitals. She was quick to brag on her grandchildren and their accomplishments to everyone. Her infamous “Peanut Butter Fudge” will live on through her family. In her free time, Myrna enjoyed coloring with her grandchildren, reading, music, playing the piano, and dancing. She and Don are members of Bethany Church in Broken Arrow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Trinity Woods, Good Samaritan Fund, 4134 East 31st Street, Tulsa, OK 74135 or Stonecroft Ministries at www.stonecroft.org. Myrna is survived by, Husband, Don Snediker, Tulsa, OK Daughter, Julie and husband Jim Wilson, Tulsa, OK Son, Donny and wife Stacey Snediker, Plantation, FL Grandchildren, Josh and Terri, Jonathan and Kasey, Jordan, Danielle and Eric, Donny Jr and Chanley, Drew Great Grandchildren, Samuel, Cole, Sydney, Trent, Jasmine and Trey She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Marie and brothers, Lloyd and Wayne. Special thanks to the Staff at Trinity Woods for providing excellent care for five plus years. There will be a Celebration of Myrna’s life at a later date.
