    Max Brissey

    October 29, 1930 - November 24, 2021

    George “Max” Brissey was born on Wednesday, October 29, 1930 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the son of Dr. C.C. and Vola (Nance) Brissey. He passed this life on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was 91 years of age. Max was a 1948 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. He was a member of the Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band, playing the trumpet. He was married to the former Miss Vera Jane Metzger on February 14, 1951 at the Broken Arrow Assembly of God Church. Max was a Dairy Farmer and owner of Sunrise Dairy. He loved music and played trumpet in the church orchestra, and later became a board member at Broken Arrow Assembly of God church for 36 years. He was also on the Broken Arrow Public Schools Board for 20 years. Max loved spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren. He is survived by, Daughter, Peggy Brissey of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Sons, Philip Brissey and wife, Dawn, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Charles Brissey and wife, Kerri, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Grandchildren, Breia Brissey, Summer Hill and husband, Chris, Austin Brissey, Justin Brissey, Seth Brissey Great-Grandchildren, Mila Hill and Demi Hill Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. C.C and Vola; wife and love of his life, Vera Jane; brother, Gene and grandson, David Brissey.
