Gregory Neil Kirby

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. A Visitation with Greg’s family will be observed the evening before on Tuesday, January 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM, also at Hayhurst. Gregory Neil Kirby was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 18, 1957, to Robert Neil and Velva Jean (Bowles) Kirby. He passed from this life on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home in Broken Arrow at the age of 64. Greg was one of two sons born to the Kirbys’. He grew up in Broken Arrow and graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1975. He became the father of two sons. Greg had a love for horses his entire life, and also loved to fish as well as watch his sons and grandkids play soccer. Greg worked many years as an engineer in the Storm Water Management Department for the City of Broken Arrow. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are son, Daniel Kirby (Shannon) of Tulsa Son, Jason Kirby (Courtney) of Broken Arrow Father, Bob Kirby (Wanda) of Broken Arrow Brother, David Kirby of Broken Arrow 7 Grandchildren: Dakota, Addison, Casey, Grayson, Harper, Emma, and Cate And numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins Those who preceded him in death are mother, Velva Jean and sister-in-law, Joanie Kirby
