Dennis McIntosh Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dennis Wayne, also known as “Sonny” to his family and close friends was born on April 18, 1956 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of Lemuel and Betty (Drake) McIntosh. Sonny passed from this life to his eternal heavenly home on September 26, 2020, at home in Broken Arrow. Sonny graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1974. After a couple of years working, he enrolled at OSU Tech in Okmulgee, and graduated from there in 1980 as a plumber. He worked for awhile as a plumber, was a groundskeeper for Union High School in Tulsa and most recently in Maintenance for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. He retired two years ago. He was the father of two children and two grandchildren whom he loved and cherished any time he could spend with them. He loved his mom and sister, as well as the many friends he made through the years. Sonny loved Oklahoma University Football and enjoyed watching movies on TV. Sonny was baptized at the Haikey United Methodist Church but had been attending the Broken Arrow Indian United Methodist Church in recent years. Sonny is survived by, Mother, Betty McIntosh of Broken Arrow Sister, Lynne Frierson of Broken Arrow Daughter, Brandy McIntosh of Glenpool Son, Brandon McIntosh of Catoosa Grandchildren, Aiyana Moore, and Aiden McIntosh And a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly He was preceded in death by his father, Lemuel McIntosh And Grandparents, Ben and Ella McIntosh and Louis and Dora James
