David Webbert Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Lynn Webbert was one of two, born on Friday, February 24, 1956 to the proud parents, Jack and JoAnn (Taylor) Webbert in Pryor, Oklahoma. He joined the heavenly multitudes on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 64. His services are under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. David met the love of his life, Renee Harper. They married in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 31, 1985 and was Davia Webbert’s “Good Looking Dad.” David reveled in going to the beach and taking Renee on cruises through the years. When they weren’t traveling, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and football. David was a real sports fanatic and avid OU fan. However, his real passion was officiating high school/college football & basketball, which included 7 State Football Championship games and 3 State Basketball Championship games, for more than 30 years. He served as the President of the Oklahoma Officials Association and was the State Officiating Representative of the NE Oklahoma Counties. He gained recognition by being inducted into the Greater Tulsa Officials Association Hall of Fame and ultimately, the Oklahoma Officials Hall of Fame. David is survived by, Wife, Renee Webbert of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Daughter, Davia Webbert of Charleston, South Carolina. Identical Twin Brother, Dennis Webbert & wife Victoria of Atlanta, Georgia In-Law’s, Bob & Kathleen Harper of Tulsa, Oklahoma Preceded in death by parents, sister, Pamela McCollough, brother-in-law, Nick McCollough.
