Bobby Joe Rutherford, II was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on Monday, April 1, 1963, to Bobby Joe and Shirley (Morgan) Rutherford. He passed from this life on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 58. Bobby was the second child born to the Rutherford’s. He had one older sister. He grew up in Claremore and Grove, playing baseball from a young age. He wrestled at Grove High School until his family moved to Broken Arrow just before his senior year of high school. He also boxed. Bobby graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1981. Although his marriage did not work out, he became the father of a daughter and two sons whom he dearly loved. Bobby played a lot of slow-pitch softball until his knees gave out and was very accomplished on the billiards table. He was a hard worker providing for his family. He was a skilled machinist and worked the last eight years at Apsco in Tulsa. His family describes Bobby as infectious, fun with a big smile that could light up the room. He always made others around him feel important. Bobby was a huge OU Sooner Fan, and he began attending Victory Christian Center the last several years with his mother. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley M. Rutherford of Tulsa Daughter Channing Rogers (Andrew) of Locust Grove Son Tucker Rutherford (Trini) of Tulsa Son Spencer Rutherford (Peri) of Grove Five Grandchildren: Adrian, Remmington, Bradee, Rhymee, and Finnleigh Brother Todd Shepherd Nephews Kyle Kirby and Bryan Kirby And a host of friends Those who preceded him in death are his father, Bobby Joe Rutherford and his sister, Joani Kirby
