Arthur Turner

March 31, 1955 - February 8, 2022

Arthur Turner was born on Thursday, March 31, 1955 in Woodward, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Ruby (Stocking) Turner. He passed this life on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at his home in Broken Arrow. He was 66 years of age. Art was a 1973 graduate of East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He committed his life to Christ in the mid-1970s. He worked for Warren Theater in Broken Arrow, and previously worked at the former Adam’s Mark Motel, as well as Sam’s Club. He also worked at Viking Plumbing in Tulsa. He was well known as a hard worker in his various employments. At his death, Art was employed at Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Store in the Grocery Department. Arthur enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his sons, and was a big football fan. He also loved attending and being a member of Tulsa Christian Fellowship. He volunteered at TCF activities, such as the vacation Bible school each summer, and various church workdays, and was a part of the Jesus Inn community in his early days at TCF, and later, part of different TCF house churches. He always had a heart for missions and loved the TCF missionaries. He was a faithful pray-er and was much-loved by his church family. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to Tulsa Christian Fellowship, 2121 East Third Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104. He is survived by, Sons, Jeremiah Turner, Tulsa, OK David Turner, Miami, OK Sisters, Debra Armour, Tulsa, OK Sandra Lee McAlester, Galveston, TX Brother, Charles Green, Mooreland, OK He was preceded in death by his parents.
