Anita Coleen Young

Anita Coleen Young was born on Saturday, January 30, 1937 in Coweta, Oklahoma the daughter of Jeff and Fay (Benson) Tiger. She passed this life on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 84 years of age. The former Miss Coleen Tiger was a 1954 graduate of Catoosa, Oklahoma high school where she was voted queen of her class. She married William “Doyle” Young on December 11, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2012. Coleen loved her church. She was a great cook and always had food for family and friends. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very gracious, kind and always considerate of others. The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202. She is survived by, Daughters, Lori Johnson Tracy Young Debbie and husband Bob Smith Grandchildren Marla and Luke Freeman, Eric and Lindsay Smith, Carly Treece, Casey and Bobby Duck, Chelsy and Joe Barrett, Tate and Amber Philips, John and Stacy Burris, Matthias Johnson Great Grandchildren, Peter, Wyatt, Max, Weston, Sterling, Lilly, Micah, Addison, Harper, Aden, Grayer, Magnolia, Max, Myles, Jax, Johnnie Sisters, JoAnn Satterfield and Pat Cochran Numerous loved nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Coleen was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Faye; husband, Doyle; sisters, Rose Roberts, Betty Mcanelly and Sue Davis; brother, Carl; brother-in-law, Marion Mcanelly.
