No Services scheduled at this time Alice Ann (Murphy-Brown) Loyd was born in Mobile, Alabama Feburary 14,1932, to Patrick O. Murphy and Alice Ann (Wagaski). She passed from this life June 18, 2022, in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 90. Alice Ann and her siblings Martha, and Frank (Butch) were raised by her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from Murphy High School in 1950. Married James E. Loyd May 2, 1953, in Pensacola, Florida. She and Jim were happily married for 63 years until his passing Sept 2018. One of her favorite places to visit was Africa, she went on several safaris and had a smile on her face the entire trip. Alice Ann was always stylish and was known for her collection of hats. Always a lady. She left behind 3 children, Jim (Karin) Loyd of Claremore, Martha Ann (Tom) Kirchmaier of Middleburg, Virginia, Matt (Yoshiko) Loyd of Newbury Park, California Alice Ann had 8 Grandchildren: Kalin (deceased) Jonathan, Daniel, Hunter, Andrew, Kara, Jared, and Jessica and 14 Great grandchildren. A niece Martha Ann Waters from Mobile, Alabama, and many, many loved family members and long-time friends around the world. Those who preceded her in death were her husband Jim, Sister Martha B Waters, Brother Frank (Butch) Brown, Nephew Charles Waters and Grandson Kalin Loyd. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
