Alice Foshee

December 26, 1928 - February 28, 2022

Alice Ruth Fry (Nevel) Foshee was born in Davenport, Iowa on Wednesday, December 26, 1928, to Ernest Jacob and Phylena Mae (McGee) Fry. She passed from this life to her eternal home in heaven on Monday, February 28, 2022, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 93. Alice was one of nine children born to the Frys’. Her family moved to California when she was a young child and she attended school there through the 10th Grade. She and her first husband, Jack, became parents to six children: four girls and two boys. Alice worked on an assembly line at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa for more than 20 years until it closed. On March 19, 2000, Alice married Donald R. Foshee in Wagoner, Oklahoma and they have been devoted to one another for these past 21 years, and members of The Assembly Church in Broken Arrow where they faithfully attended until their health began to fail. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Donald, of Broken Arrow Sister, Shirley Mae Ward of Reno, Nevada Son, Edward “Jack” Ray Nevel, III (Debra) of Carrollton, Texas Daughter, Linda Shieldnight (Mickey) of Claremore Daughter, Cynthia Wampler (Kelly) of Spur, Texas Daughter, Cathy Berg (Stacy) of Inola Son, John “Mark” Nevel (Kellie) of Owasso Daughter, Laura Rogers (Rob) of Glenpool 14 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren And numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins Those preceded her in death are her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
