Terry Lee Parker

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Parker on April 24th, 2026, at the age of 79 in his home, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Terry was born on October 17th, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Harold Edwin and Laura Nadine (Colston) Parker. Terry met the love of his life and beloved wife, Nora Lee (Coblentz) Parker of 54 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they flourished. Terry was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for his family. Terry graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After high school, Terry earned a degree in Business as well as a degree in Printing and Lithography. Following his college graduation, Terry moved to Texas for work and was drafted to serve in the United States military. Terry was inducted in 1969 to the United States Army, Company C, 2nd Battalion, where he served 2 tours in Vietnam, after which he was honorably discharged. Terry worked throughout his life helping people in various ways, including 20 plus years working in his family's business, Parker Office Supply, and 25 years working for Walmart. After which Terry retired, enjoying his time with his loving wife and family. Terry was a people person, he never met a person that would not become a friend, he loved all animals, watching them in nature or pets and spending time with family and friends. As a child, Terry spent time flying kites, playing with his dog Blackie, being involved in Immanuel Baptist Church on 3rd street in Tulsa and attending Kanakuk Kamp with his brother. Terry and his brother, Gary, were known for flying the highest kites in their neighborhood. As an adult, Terry got married and had two children. He was his son's soccer coach; he helped bring the love of music to his daughter and grandchildren through his talent for playing the clarinet. He traveled the world with his endearing wife on cruise ships and direct trips to places such as the Holy Land. Terry will be remembered for his kindness, patience, and devotion to his family. Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, Harold Edwin and Laura Nadine (Colston) Parker, Brother, Harold Edwin Parker Jr. and, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law and Roy Fred and Mildred (Clark) Coblentz Survived by: Wife Nora Lee (Coblentz) Parker; son Matthew Lee Parker; daughter Melissa Lee (Swendrowski) Parker; daughters-in-law Lee-Anne (Wilson) Parker; son-in-law Stanley Swendrowski; grandchildren Joshua and Philip Swendrowski and Colleen (Swendrowski) and husband Kostya Nesterenko, brother Gary Parker and daughter Leanna Parker; sister in-law, Barbara Parker, Karla Coblentz and son Clark Coblentz; and several nieces and nephews.
