Shane Ray Anderson

Shane Ray Anderson entered this life August 21, 1968 in Tulsa, OK and departed April 5, 2015 after a long illness and was living in Wetumka, OK. Shane lived in Tulsa, OK for the first 10 years of his life. He was a Cub Scout, played soccer and baseball, attended church and was a happy boy and a joy to be with! He then moved to Wetumka, OK where he graduated from Wetumka High School in 1987. He then moved back to Tulsa and attended Spartan School of Aeronautics. He completed the courses and training necessary to obtain his Pilot's license. He was an excellent pilot and flying was his passion. Shane served his country in the United States Marine Corp during Desert Storm from 1991-1995 attaining the rank of Corporal. He lived in Colorado 12 years working as a truck driver hauling hay to dairies in New Mexico, working for Saguache County Road and Bridge and Western Distributing in Denver, CO. Every employer he worked for appreciated his input, his good work ethic and he always thought of ways to improve their operation. Shane was kind, respectful, competent, loyal, fun-loving, witty, loving and a true friend. He was gifted in many ways and made good use of his gifts. Shane enjoyed attending music concerts, fishing, snow skiing, hiking, and spending time with people. We all miss him and know he is happy and well in Heaven. Gann, Kenny Gann, Joe Gann and Craig Gann, OK. Shane was preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents: Leslie Starks, Wetumka, OK and Belle Starks of Tulsa, OK Paternal Grandparents: Jimmy and Ruby Anderson, of Wetumka, OK
