Randy Snow

Coy Randall “Randy” Snow, 72, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born on February 18, 1953, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Randy was the son of Coy and Juanita Snow (Jones). He spent his childhood in Broken Arrow, where his grandmother, Una Snow (O’Quinn) helped raise him. At age 12, he became a proud older brother to Mark and Lisa Snow, who called him Yay-yay when they were young. He often shared fond memories of helping care for them. Randy graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1971 and held various jobs during his youth, including lifeguard and chef at the Gaslight Dinner Theater. He later transitioned into the oil and gas industry, beginning as an electrical drafter and advancing to designer. Over his 40+ year career, he contributed to numerous Tulsa- area companies, including Knight Industries, Nelson Electric, Crest, Sun, Zink, Edeco, S&S Controls, ProQuip, Williams Brothers Engineering, Williams Pipeline, and Magellan. He especially enjoyed working alongside his brother Mark, earning them the nickname “Snow Brothers.” Randy retired from Magellan after a distinguished career that also included international assignments in the Netherlands and nearly a year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Randy was a devoted father to Carla and Derek. He never missed a church play, concert, or scout event, and he taught them life skills with a good dose of humor. He loved watching football with the family—always with popcorn—and somehow Old Yeller made it home with him from nearly every video store trip. Randy had a zest for life and a sharp sense of humor. He and Sue enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, collecting WWII memorabilia, firearms, and watching war films. His musical tastes ranged from country to classic oldies. He was also actively involved in the family’s cattle business and real estate ventures. He is survived by his longtime partner Sue Conner; daughter Carla (David Guida); son Derek (Jennifer Snow); brother Mark (Melissa Snow); sister Lisa (Dinos Avgousti); Sue’s daughter Nikki Whealan; and grandchildren Makenzie, Madison, Katherine, Benjamin, Tyler, and Samantha. He is also remembered by many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Gary Snow, and grandson Nicholas Guida. Randy will be deeply missed for his warmth, humor, and enduring presence. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and take comfort in knowing he is at peace.
