With heavy hearts and enduring love, we share the passing of Lorie Joann Hubbard, who left this world on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 48. Lorie was the beloved daughter of John Curtis and Gloria (Lacambra) Wiley born in Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, September 16, 1976. Lorie lived a life marked by compassion, creativity, and a deep devotion to those she loved. A woman of strength and grace, she earned two Associate Degrees and served as an Administrative Assistant at Tulsa Pediatric Group, where her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. On Saturday, November 15, 1997, Lorie married the love of her life, Jeremy Hubbard, in Dyer, Arkansas. Together they built a life full of laughter, memories, and love—a journey shared across family dinners, homemade crafts, road trips, and the quiet, precious moments in between. Her greatest joy came from her family. She was a proud and nurturing mother to Nolan Hubbard of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Nathan Hubbard of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Morgan Herrman (and husband Cole) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She delighted in her role as “grammy” to her grandchildren, Levi and Kylan Herrman, who brought her endless happiness and pride. Lorie was the heart of her home—always cooking, creating, and celebrating life's simplest joys. She was known for capturing the beauty of her meals and the warmth of her gatherings in photographs, preserving moments that spoke volumes of her love. Her hands were always busy making something for someone else, and her spirit was always generous. She is survived by her devoted husband, children, grandchildren, mother Gloria Wiley (and husband Robert), father John Curtis, and sisters and brothers: Anne Longhorn, Mary Crowder, Elgin Wiley, Dominick Wiley, Robert Wiley, Jr., Tonya Sherrod, and Tarshall Wyche. Though her time with us was far too short, Lorie’s love was vast and lasting. Her laughter, her selflessness, and her unwavering care will echo in the hearts of all who knew her. We grieve the loss of her presence, but we celebrate the incredible life she lived—a life that taught us how to love more deeply, give more freely, and cherish each moment. A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Lorie’s memory by sharing a homemade meal with someone you love, crafting something special with your hands, or taking time to hold those dear to you a little closer. She was deeply loved—and always will be.
