Jana Stockton

Jana Sue (Keltz) Stockton was born Tuesday, July 6, 1954, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert Wayne Keltz and Mildred Eileen (Chesser) Keltz. She passed peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 16, 2024, at age 69. Jana graduated in 1972 from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs. She took some college classes and jumped into the work force. She built her career as a Senior Account Manager for HUB International, previously known as CFR. She was employed there for 18 years before retiring in 2020. Jana was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She loved her family dearly. In late 1993 she met Donald Stockton, and they married on August 27, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the White Wedding Chapel. Jana was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed baking and loved making her special rum cakes, bread puddings and carrot cakes for her Sweetheart, Donald. Jana, or Susie as she was fondly known by her friends, had a joyous and adventurous spirit who loved to dance! She also enjoyed playing cards, traveling, dining out, and going to the movies. Susie was highly creative and kept her hands busy. She was popularly known for making wreaths. Susie made dazzling wreaths and often sold them to co-workers. She had a keen eye for decorating, and her home shows that. She was an animal lover and had a passionate heart for their dogs, Jack and Sugar which she called “her baby.” She liked to travel whenever the opportunity arose and was instrumental in planning their many cruises and other vacations. Susie was adventurous and learned to SCUBA so she could be Donald’s dive partner and went on several dives with Donald and their friends to places including Belize, and Cozumel. She and Donald were members of the Broken Arrow Senior Center. She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Donald Stockton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Her two Daughters, Amy Bushey of Sperry, Oklahoma and Sara Andersen of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A Stepson, Gary Stockton of Kellyville, Oklahoma and Stepdaughter, Sherry Lynn of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Together Susie and Donald have thirteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her Parents, Infant Son James Edward “Jimmy” Wofford and Sister, Patricia Cole.
