Greg Sutton

Gregory “Greg” Reuben Sutton was born in Hardtner, Kansas on Saturday, July 15, 1950 to parents, Lloyd Wesley and Maxine (Moad) Sutton. He passed from this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75. Greg touched the lives of many. Greg was one of four children raised on a farm in Kansas. He was a Bull Rider in his younger years. He graduated from Hardtner High School in 1968. He went on to take some college classes at Fort Hays State University Greg was a smart, witty man who was very good at solving problems. He was great at relating to people which helped him be quite successful as a Regional Commercial Salesman for Kelly-Moore Paint Company. Greg worked for them 33 years before retiring. Greg was passionate about family, baseball and fishing. He looked forward to each of the St. Louis Cardinals games and enjoyed following along with Bass Pro Tournaments. He loved fishing and for a time traveled to participate in fishing tournaments around the region. In his venture from Kansas to Oklahoma Greg met Deborah “Debbie” Johnson and as they grew fond of each other in their relationship, they decided to make wedding plans. Wednesday, December 1, 1971 Greg and Debbie were married in Alva, Oklahoma. They relocated to Tulsa, Ok in the early 80’s due to work opportunities in the Paint industry. They were most recently involved in the First Christian Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He set a good Christian example for his family although he did like to give people a’ hard time’, in a good-humored way. Greg will be sorely missed.
