Diane Fryar

Betty Diane Fryar was born on Tuesday, November 28, 1961 in Monticello, Arkansas to parents Rex and Betty (Adair) Shelby. She left Tulsa, Oklahoma to enter through those Pearly Gates on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the age of 63. Betty “Diane” Fryar was raised in Arkansas. She graduated from Warren High May 1980. The day after graduation, Kenny Dean Fryar and Diane trotted on over to Hot Springs, Arkansas and eloped and lived ‘happily ever after’ until his passing in (1994). Diane was wonderful wife and doting mother. Diane had such a tender heart that she had a calling as a caregiver for so many. It was very apparent she was a woman of faith in the way she lived and loved her family. She cared deeply for her church family of Rusty Nails Cowboy Church. It played a big part in her life. In her spare time, Diane liked to watch TV, with her favorite show being “Street Outlaws”. When she could get a group of friends together she liked to play cards. A lot can be said for a life well lived, but more than anything – Diane loved her family and any time she could spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a treasure. Those to reminisce the memories of Diane, Children, Tommy Fryar and spouse Recia Fryar and Kevin Fryar Siblings, Melinda Ward and Jimmy Shelby and spouse April Shelby. Grandchildren, Keith Fryar and spouse Faith Fryar, Blake Fryar and spouse Brianna Fryar, Kirklyn Kennedy, Delana Mays, Savannah Henley, Brookelynn Henley Great-Grandchildren, Aubri Kennedy, Malakai Fryar, Audri Kennedy. Avallen Fryar, Ace Kennedy, Micah Fryar, Gatlin Fryar and one great-grandchild on the way (Peanut) Nieces, Hanna Ward, Brittney Valley and spouse Brian Valley, Toni Fryar, Amber Armstrong, Brittney Phillips and spouse Cade Phillips, Alissa Austin, Shereen Shelby. Nephews: Michael Maharouse, Cody Walls and spouse Allison Walls, Khy Butler A host of other childrens whose lives were touched by Aunt Diane or Moma Diane. Preceded in death by parents, Rex and Betty Shelby, husband, Kenny Fryar and nephew, Timothy Ward. Celebration of Life will be held March 28,2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Rusty Nails Cowboy Church in Forrest City, Arkansas.
