Dale Yingst

Robert Dale Yingst from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was born on Thursday, September 8, 1949 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents, Wesley Sylvester and Doris (King) Yingst. He left this earth on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 76. Last November, 2024 Dale was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Dale spent the majority of his life in the Tulsa area married to his wife, Dianna (Jones) Yingst for 45 years. Dale graduated from East Central High School in 1967 and attended Devry Technical School. He served as a Sentry dog handler and Military Policeman for the Army during the Vietnam Era. He was stationed in South Korea. Dale spent most of his adult life working at Tulsa Cable for over 20 years as a cable engineer and later the training and safety director. Later with his wife, Dianna, they started a business, Double DY Inc., as Independent Sales Representatives for Aflac. Dale “Officially” retired in 2019. Dianna and Dale were fortunate to travel all around the world together. Dale had four children and his legacy continues to grow with each passing year. Dale was a loving husband and father. He was a successful businessman; a Licensed Insurance Agent for Aflac. Dale loved the outdoors. He was a hunter and fisherman. Dale enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. When his son Chris was young, Dale was his wrestling coach. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He also had an ear for music and like to strum on his guitar, banjo, ukulele or play his harmonica. Dale was very interested in and studied history. He watched historical documentaries often and took several courses after retiring. MOST OF ALL… He loved his grandbabies and being around family and friends.
