Carolyn Chaino Ahkeahbo

Carolyn Sue (Miller) Chaino Ahkeahbo was Born on March 15th, 1941 to Fredrick Miller and Ruby(Sharp) Miller in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Carolyn Graduated with the class of 1959 of College High in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. From then on out she continued her life travels, she began work at Phillips 66 in September of 1962 and retired in 1999 after 37 years of service. She Attended Tulsa Jr. College for a few years. Her hobbies included playing bunko and beating everyone, Loved watching her show “Survivor”. Carolyn was an avid swimmer and a certified scuba diver, having dived in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Hawaii and Australia. In her elderly years she enjoyed going to Water Aerobics at the Owasso YMCA. She toured all throughout Europe visiting many countries. She was a big Charlie Brown fan, OU Softball Fan and OU fan in general. Carolyn really loved to travel with her daughter Cottalene and her grand boys all across Indian country to powwows. Where she loved to watch them sing and dance. She is Survived by her Daughter Cottalene Chaino Ahkeahbo and her three sons GoodWarrior Deer(Aka Mah’Hi’Vists Deer) , Grant Deer (Nekoosa,Wi), and RJ Deer of Tulsa, Ok. A Son Tommy(Tuffy) Chaino Ahkeahbo Jr. and granddaughters Amber Chavez (Ben Chavez) and Alicia Chaino Ahkeahbo from Cushing OK and Delaynna Quiñones of BuckEye Arizona. Daughter Tammy White (Claremore) and granddaughters Jaimie, Stephanie and Becky White along with her grandson Brett White. Carolyn is also survived by 14 Great Grand Children and numerous adopted Children and Grand Children, nieces and Nephews. Along with her two sisters Sandra Blevins of Owasso, Ok, and Marilyn Okeefe of El Paso Texas. Her funerary procession will begin on Sunday March 22nd with a viewing/wake service 2-8 pm at the Hayhurst Funeral Home, 1660 S Elm Place Broken Arrow, Ok 74012. Viewing and visiting with the family from 2-6pm then from 6-8pm Native Church singing and sharing of memories. Monday March 23,2026 Funeral services at 11am Hayhurst Funeral Home with procession to Memorial Park Cemetery, 4200 Nowata Rd Bartlesville, Ok 74006 Charles White, II will be officiating the services. Dinner is to be served after the burial at the Delaware Tribal community building 170 NE Barbara Ave Bartlesville, Ok 74006
