Aaron Hickey

Aaron Randall Hickey was born on August 7, 1981 in Houston, Texas. He is the son of Randall and Lillian Hickey. He passed from this life on Monday, December 16, 2024 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma due to complications of colorectal cancer. He was 43 years of age. Aaron graduated from Sharpstown High School in Houston, Texas in 1999. He then attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma where he studied Biomedical Sciences. While at OU Aaron met the love of his life, Christina, and they married in 2005 and welcomed their son, Aiden in 2006. He worked for Hilti for over 18 years before leaving to pursue a new career at Rick Scott Construction as the Director of Business Development. Aaron was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and just about anything involving sun and water. He was able to share his love of these things with his son, Aiden, where they had many wonderful adventures. He was a dedicated coach to all of Aiden’s sports teams including baseball, football and lacrosse. Aaron had a heart of service and was always willing to help his friends and family with anything that was needed. He never met a stranger and had a knack of making everyone feel included. Aarons greatest source of joy was his family. Aaron is survived by his wife, Christina Bryant Hickey and his son, Aiden Aaron Hickey of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his parents, Randall and Lillian Hickey of Houston, Texas; his sisters, Amy and John Adams of Stafford, Texas; Tracey Priska of Rochester, Michigan; and nieces and nephews, Mason and Madison Trevino of Stafford Texas, and Hunter Jackson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Enedina Ovares of Taylor, Michigan; Earl and Lorraine Hickey of Roseville, Michigan; his aunt, Anna Marie O.
