Marie "Mamie" T. Fulps Stith

Marie "Mamie" T. Fulps-Stith passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the age of 90. A Memorial service honoring her life will be held at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel, at a time to be determined after this peak of the Coronavirus. Mamie will be laid to rest at Floral Haven Memorial Park. Friends may visit Mamie at Hayhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 12:30 to 8pm with some family members receiving friends from 6-8pm. Mamie was born Saturday, October 4, 1930 in Shanghai, China to Raul and Emma (Hansen) Canavarro. She married Howard (Jack) Morton, an American soldier, at the age of seventeen and moved to Coweta, OK. Mamie and Jack were blessed with three sons; Dennis, Howard (Jackie), and David. Mamie was very active in church her entire life. She was always involved in her sons' sports and other activities. She worked for North American Rockwell Tulsa in the aerospace industry to support her three sons. One of the highlights of her career was building the transducers - string gauges for the Apollo program. She retired to a 101 acre farm in Big Cabin, OK with her second husband, Pete Hale and cared for him through his battle with cancer. She cared for two more husbands through their health battles. She felt she was placed on this earth to be a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with family and helping those in need. She lived a very spirited, full life. Survivors include: Sons Dennis Morton and wife, Patti of Jenks Jackie Morton and wife, Linda of Bixby Grandchildren Tyson Morton and wife Andrea Amanda Lee McClendon and husband Mike Anthony Morton and wife Tonya Michael Morton and wife Kellie Brandy Morton Amanda Nicole Thompson and husband Dennis Great Grandchildren Connor Morton John Mark Morton Reese McClendon Radisyn McClendon Raigan McClendon Braden Sundberg Oliver Morton Davy Morton Elijah Thompson Stepchildren Preston Hale Lyndia Thornton Louise Geiger Norene Marsh Also, many more stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.
