Francie Pardee

Our hearts will forever be touched, as we always remember to choose JOY. The Heavens have opened up and welcomed home a loving, caring, and joyful lady. Mary Frances Pardee has spent her entire life choosing JOY and sharing that along the way. She lived by this motto. It is because of her lifetime commitment and deeply rooted faith that she was at peace when she took her final breath here on Earth. Her life was well lived and she was well loved. The Lord called her home on August 23, 2022 at the age of 79. Francie, as we know her, was born on August 29th, 1942. She was born in Lawton, OK and then moved to Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 2. She was a lifetime Broken Arrow resident, graduating in 1960. She loved her BA Tigers! Always attending the football games under the Friday night lights. Her family has been season ticket holders since the 1950’s. First United Methodist Church BA was her second home. Having attended this church since she was 2 years old she served in many ministries as a volunteer and also an employee in Care Ministries for the last decade of her life. She was married 1961 and from the marriage came two precious sons, Mark and Michael Robertson. Michael gave her the one and only grandchild, Tayler Robertson. She adored her granddaughter dearly and loved spending time with her every chance she got. She later met the love of her life, her soulmate, Doug Pardee. They traveled, served, worshiped and sang together in the choir at First United Methodist Church BA until Doug was called home to his Lord and Savior. Francie loved her hometown of Broken Arrow. She was a HUGE football fan. She loved her BA Tigers, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and her beloved Dallas Cowboys. She loved watching them all. She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile, caring heart, unconditional love, and always choosing JOY! She was a women of God, always leading by example. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, a very good friend to all, someone who always put others first. Mary Frances Pardee will forever be etched in our hearts. Although our hearts are heavy we will celebrate her life and find comfort knowing that she is in Heaven watching over us. May we carry on her legacy by choosing JOY. All are welcome to join us in celebrating her life Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary at First United Methodist Church BA. Memorials may be made to the Lunch Bunch fund and the Care Ministry fund at First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow 112 E. College Street | Broken Arrow, OK 74012 Francie is Survived by, sister, Caroline Skinner and granddaughter, Tayler Robertson. Francie was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Elizabeth Gall, sister, Edith Moore, brother, Ralph Gall, children, Mark Robertson and Michael Robertson, and husband, Doug Pardee. The family encourages you to wear your Broken Arrow, Oklahoma State or Dallas Cowboy attire.
