Funeral Services for William Leslie Armstrong have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be 2:30 PM at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
William Leslie Armstrong was born March 10, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of William Louis and Zola Fern (Murrow)Armstrong. William died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 58 years of age.
William was a 1968 graduate of Grant High School in Oklahoma City. He was married to Rita Marlene Armstrong on August 15, 1969 in Oklahoma City. They moved to Tulsa in 1972. They later divorced in 1990. William was employed with the T. D. Williamson Company. He enjoyed his family, mowing lawn with his grandson, Nascar, Rodeo, Fishing, Boating and Chevy’s. Memorials may be made to the William Leslie Armstrong Memorial Fund, 1660 S. Elm Pl., Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
