Graveside Services for Cato Aven have been scheduled for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Rev. Jerry and Jill Spurrell will officiate under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
Carl Cato Aven was born January 26, 1962 at Athens, Georgia the son of Carl Cato and Maxine (Browder) Aven, III. Cato died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 45 years of age.
Carl was a graduate of Athens Christian School. He moved to the Tulsa area in 1979 from Athens. He married the former Miss Terri Rich on January 23, 1982 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a Freight Driver for Fed Ex. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, bird watching, target shooting, bike riding and activities with his sons. He was a member of World Outreach Church.
